A pair of new trellises were added to this home on Lake Hopatcong. To anchor the new trellises to the existing patio required specialized structural detailing since the patio area was built over exposed bedrock and the second trellis over the water.
Custom steel brackets were designed to accommodate the structure’s weight and to resist the high wind prevalent on the lake. In addition to the sun shading of the dock areas, the views of the trellises are particularly spectacular in summer and fall from the lake.
